Seeing Cassiopia from 35000 feet is pretty cool. Unfortunately, its also hard to photograph. So here is a picture of sunrise somewhere above western NC.

I went down to Kiawah Island, South Carolina this weekend with my family. I brought along my DSLR and GoPro too. I took the GoPro out on the beach one evening to shoot some video and some stills. These pictures are some of the results.

Tent Views
I was playing around with the camera last night shooting some longer exposure shots of the cool trees here at the beach in South Carolina.
So its mud season in Crested Butte. What does that mean? Well, it means mountain biking in Gunnison at Hartman Rocks, 60 degree weather on one day, 4 inches of snow the next, and who knows what the day after. I’ve been working studying for finals here at Western where I’ve been taking some business classes. I’m not sure I mentioned that on here, but its been taking some of my time.
I’ve got a few articles in the pipeline too, but I haven’t had time to really polish them like I want to. Maybe a short documentary in the works too. We’ll see.
Anyway, I know you are here for the pictures, so here are a few.

Went to the Crested Butte slush huck yesterday and watched some people get very, very wet and cold. Mostly I took pictures of people’s awesome costumes.

There was a great scene and a lot of spectators at the bottom of the venue. Sun, beer and bratwurst were plentiful on Saturday.
